Maven Session Event Details

The Maven Sessions are a nation-wide tour of wake sports clinics for
women and girls taught by the Maven Pro athletes. We invite all ages
and levels to join us! This will be the 3rd year of the tour and it
keeps getting better! Last year’s tour we met over 800 ladies ranging
from ages of 4 yrs old to 61 yrs old. We taught a few girls their first
inverts and got hundreds of beginners up on a wakeboard for their very
first time. Our goals in the Maven Sessions are to grow your confidence
on the water, teach you proper body position to help you progress,
educate you on board shape and design, and to help you network with
other local girls who love to ride.

Each session is 4 hours long and we cap the boats at 6 attendees per
session so you get plenty of time on the water and one-on-one
instruction. We start off the Session with some board shape education
so you can walk away with savvy and confidence in choosing your own
set-ups for the future. We will have our complete line of 2008 LF Maven
gear which includes 5 different board shapes in 13 sizes, 7 different
bindings in 13 sizes, one wake skate.
After we get everyone “educated” and set-up we pile in the boats or
head to the cable for some serious learning and even more serious fun.
We will finish off the session by watching the Maven Pros ride and then
close with photos and autograph signings.

Morning sessions are from 9am-1pm or 10am-2pm.
Evening sessions are from 2pm-6pm or 3pm-7pm (please check the online schedule carefully).
**Please show up as promptly as you can. (Certain locations allow for flexible arrival/departure times, some do not)

We suggest you bring:
- Bathing suit, possibly wet suit if you prefer
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Towel
- Life vest if you prefer your own (we have some)
- Energy!

IMPORTANT: Please be aware of local laws and provide flotation devices
for young children as we are not equipped with enough to guarantee all
attendees a life vest that the local law may require. For example in
the state California all children under the age of 11 must wear a CGA
vest at all times. Thank you!
